U.S Constitution
- Talk about the rights and laws of the U.S president and the government
- Is in much more Modern English and is easier to understand
- Government is made up of the Legislative Branch
- Each state has a representative
- Much newer than the Magna Carta
- You can vote for a new president
Magna Carta
- Contains the laws/rights of the council
- Council is made up of the Pope, King, nobles, knights, and peasants
- Older than the U.S Constitution
- The heir will become the next king
Similarities
- Contains the rights of the people
- Both have some sort of Congress
- Both contain the laws of the country
- Both president or kings can be dethroned depending on the people's opinion of the ruler
